High Density Spacesaver Dealer McMurray Stern Achieves USGBC LEED Professional Accreditation
28 Year Compact Shelving Provider Committed to Serving the Architect & Design Community
McMurray Stern, a leading provider of high density mobile filing systems, announced that their A&D Market Specialist, Dominique Smith, has achieved the esteemed USGBC LEED Professional Accreditation. Headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California, McMurray Stern is the exclusive Southern California provider of Spacesaver filing and storage systems. High density mobile storage systems dramatically increase efficiency for businesses and institutions by conserving space and improving productivity. They reduce the space required to store materials by 50%, allowing for a smaller building footprint.
“It’s an exciting time for McMurray Stern. With strong market growth and the increased adoption of sustainable building practices, we’ve positioned ourselves as a viable resource partner for the architect and design industry.” McMurray Stern President, Matt Denburg said.
By having a LEED AP on our staff, we are able to provide better service to our architectural and design partners, and communicate our commitment to promote sustainable building practices.
Dominique’s core responsibilities will be:
1. Conducting AIA accredited educational seminars on various topics related to storage solutions.
2. Assist our A/D partners in designing and specifying storage solutions for their clients that are safe, efficient and cost-effective.
LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. A LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.
